dMRV technology continuously captures, validates, and analyzes field-level data, replacing manual and paper-based processes. It enables transparent, auditable, and near-real-time monitoring of results, helping programs track performance, verify outcomes, and scale impact with confidence.
We design and deploy end-to-end dMRV systems that enable governments, donors, and financiers to verify energy access outcomes with confidence. Our platforms ingest data directly from energy assets, distribution partners, and payment systems, reducing manual reporting, minimizing fraud risk, and accelerating disbursements under Results-Based Financing (RBF) schemes.
We implement our dMRV projects exclusively on Prospect, an open-source platform purposely tailored for Results-Based Financing and energy access programs. Through Prospect, we enable governments, donors, and financiers to track outcomes consistently while giving implementers the flexibility to integrate with existing systems.
Prospect is actively built and maintained by the Berlin-based Access to Energy Institute (A2EI), a dedicated team whose commitment to openness and collaboration is driving the development of the world’s only open-source dMRV platform. Prospect is trusted by the World Bank as the platform of choice for the ASCENT program – a multi-year initiative with a USD 5 billion financing envelope aimed at scaling up energy access across Eastern and Southern Africa.
